System Administrator – Defense Industry (Northern Israel)

A leading defense company in Northern Israel is seeking a System Administrator to manage and implement IT infrastructure across multidisciplinary computing environments – from small-scale networks to large, complex project infrastructures.

Role Overview:

You’ll be involved in the full lifecycle of projects – from initiation and lab development to test site operations and final delivery to the client.

The role includes implementing solutions, providing IT support for diverse infrastructure issues (networking, hardware, virtualization, and integrated systems), and ensuring availability of all project computing environments.

You’ll also lead control and compliance processes, validate implementation, document configurations, and retain operational knowledge.

Requirements:

At least 3 years of hands-on experience as a System Administrator in enterprise or SME companies – required

Must have industry-based experience

Operation and implementation of IT infrastructure in complex environments

Integration of large-scale computing systems

In-depth knowledge of Linux and Windows Server operating systems

Proven experience with networking and data communication, working with Cisco/Juniper products at a CCNA level

Installation, upgrade, and maintenance of Active Directory environments

Experience with VMware virtualization – including vSphere, vCenter, VRA

Experience with NetApp storage solutions – advantage

International certifications such as CCNA, MCSE – advantage

Ability to write technical documentation – required
