Position Overview:

For one of the leading communication and technology companies in Israel, we are seeking an experienced System Expert with a strong background in Networking infrastructures to join the Information Systems and Organizational Infrastructure team. The role includes full responsibility for managing, maintaining, and improving server environments, cloud systems, and network infrastructures with an emphasis on availability, performance, and security. The candidate will serve as a key player in the core infrastructure team and will take part in strategic projects across a complex organization with extensive infrastructures that combine advanced System, Networking, and Automation technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Management, maintenance, and upgrades of Windows Server and Linux environments including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, WSUS, and more.
• Administration and maintenance of virtualization infrastructures: VMware vSphere or Hyper-V.
• Planning, maintaining, and optimizing communication infrastructures such as LAN, WAN, VLAN, VPN, Routing, and Switching.
• Managing communication equipment including switches, firewalls, and routers from leading vendors such as Cisco, Fortigate, Juniper, and Palo Alto.
• Troubleshooting cross organizational issues and providing Tier 3 to Tier 4 support.
• Working with monitoring tools such as Zabbix, Grafana, and SolarWinds.
• Writing procedures, documenting systems and configurations, preserving organizational knowledge, and training technical teams.
• Leading cross organizational technological projects in the domains of System, Networking, and Security.
• Developing automation processes and writing scripts to accelerate daily operations using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Close collaboration with Security, Cloud, and DevOps teams.

Professional Experience:

• At least five years of experience in System administration within an enterprise level organization or a large technological environment.
• Significant experience managing Windows and or Linux environments including AD, Exchange, IIS, and DNS.
• Strong background in Networking including design and implementation of complex communication architectures, Routing and Switching, VLAN management, and Firewalls.
• Experience with virtualization environments such as VMware or Hyper-V and storage solutions including SAN or NAS.
• Experience working with cloud environments such as Azure or AWS is an advantage.
• Experience in automation using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or Ansible is a strong advantage.
• Experience with advanced monitoring and control systems.
