Job Description:

Entrypoint is seeking a Controller for a key and high impact role that includes broad responsibility over financial reporting, controls, and the leadership of cross organizational processes. The position involves close collaboration with the CFO and is suitable for someone coming from industry roles outside of an accounting firm, with approximately five years of experience in a similar position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading the monthly and quarterly financial close process, including in depth analyses and period over period comparisons

• Preparing management reports for senior leadership with strong business orientation and the ability to tell the story behind the numbers

• Overseeing budget control, tracking plan versus actuals, and identifying gaps and required improvements

• Working closely with the bookkeeping team, providing professional guidance and overseeing accounting activities

• Preparing and monitoring governance accounting processes and implementing internal controls

• Collaborating with external auditors, consultants, and various reporting authorities

Requirements:

• Approximately five years of experience as a Controller or Assistant Controller in industry (outside a CPA firm)

• CPA license

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required

• Proven experience in financial close processes, management reporting, and financial analysis

• Excellent command of Excel and ERP systems, with a strong advantage for experience with Priority

• Experience managing processes with bookkeeping teams

• High level of independence, strong organizational skills, and exceptional attention to detail

• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with senior stakeholders

• Strong business thinking, ability to identify trends, and draw meaningful conclusions

• High level of English
