Senior Experience Project Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Experience Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will operate at the intersection of all disciplines required for consumer medical device development, with a focus on embedded firmware. Reporting to the VP of Product Experience & Validation, you will own and deliver the Product Experience roadmap, ensuring alignment with stakeholders and timely execution.

You will maintain a comprehensive understanding of the firmware release plan, including dependencies, constraints, risks, and unexpected developments. Your role requires translating complex, dynamic information into a clear picture for all involved parties. You will use project management tools to reflect reality digitally and communicate effectively—visually, verbally, and in writing—with a global audience including leadership, R&D, manufacturing, and subcontractors. You will track multiple project schedules, ensure smooth information flow, push teams to meet deadlines, escalate risks, and recommend resource allocation or adjustments when necessary.

Required Experience

• 5+ years in a technical development role such as firmware development, mechanical engineering, or industrial design within multidisciplinary projects (HW/SW/FW/ME/ID/UX/UI).
• 5+ years in project management, handling detailed tasks and high-level roadmaps, running status meetings, and reporting to leadership. Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies, and combining them when needed.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or MS Project.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• People management experience (a plus).
• Project Management certification (a plus).

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects, identifying resources, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Coordinate with local (Product Experience, FW, Algo, QA, Audiology, ID) and global (Product, Marketing, App, Accessories) teams to define scope, schedules, and priorities.
• Lead status meetings with developers, manufacturing teams, and subcontractors.
• Plan sprints and releases, track progress, and report key metrics to stakeholders.
• Create release summaries, collect KPIs, and communicate updates to Regulatory Affairs.
• Drive continuous improvement by introducing proven methodologies, processes, and best practices within the team and across the organization.
