Senior Bookkeeper

Our accounting team is seeking a Sr. GL Accountant / Sr Bookkeeper with a “roll-up- your-sleeves” attitude and a passion to drive process improvements and help us

build a public company-ready organization.

The ideal candidate is proactive, collaborative, and solution-oriented, eager to apply their accounting expertise in a dynamic, high-growth environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the general ledger and ensure accuracy and completeness of financial
• data monthly. This will involve maintaining chart of accounts, recording journal
• entries, and reconciling accounts.
• Handle monthly closing activities and prepare working papers.
• Perform bank reconciliations and support cash flow tracking.
• Maintain fixed asset records, including depreciation schedules, additions,
• disposals, and impairment assessments.
• Record payroll-related journal entries and support payroll controls.
• Prepare and flux monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including
• balance sheets and income statements.
• Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and
• explanations.
• Prepare and submit statutory reports and filings to tax authorities (VAT, GST,
• Income tax, National Insurance and other tax-related issues).
• Support and identify opportunities to improve processes, innovate, and help
• resolve cross-functional issues as part of the Finance and Accounting team.
• Collaborate closely with the Global Accounting team.
• Assist in general corporate accounting matters and ad hoc projects or
• requests.
  
  

• 5+ years of accounting experience preferably in SAAS or high growth technology company.
• Experience with NetSuite.
• Strong Excel skills and analytical capabilities.
• Quick learner, ability to identify issues and resolve problems applying critical
• thinking to complex accounting issues.
• High proficiency in English (spoken and written).
• Detail-oriented, independent, and highly organized.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills as well as interpersonal skills.
• Experience and knowledge in U.S. GAAP and internal controls.
