About the Role
We’re looking for a Technical Product & Customer Marketer to drive how we communicate the value of our products to the market. This is a senior individual contributor (IC) role - ideal for a technically fluent marketer who excels at storytelling, content creation, and sales enablement. You’ll collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to build positioning, messaging, and proof-driven collateral that empower our Sales, Sales Engineering (SE), and CSM teams.
A core part of your mission will be to turn customer success into market credibility by surfacing data-driven proof points (usage metrics, performance gains, reductions in CVEs issued, and ROI improvements) and transforming them into compelling stories and assets that accelerate sales and strengthen trust in Terra’s platform.
What You’ll Do
- Develop Positioning & Messaging: Translate complex cybersecurity and SaaS concepts into differentiated, data-backed narratives for both technical and executive audiences.
- Create Customer Proof Assets: Build and scale the content engine for customer proof - including case studies, success stories, testimonials, videos, and reference programs.
- Design and Maintain Demo Environments: Partner with Product and SE teams to showcase real customer scenarios through hands-on demo systems that illustrate impact and value.
- Build Sales Collateral: Produce clear, persuasive materials such as product briefs, solution guides, competitive battlecards, and presentations that align field messaging with product reality.
- Enable Field Teams: Deliver tools, training, and messaging frameworks that help Sales and SEs engage prospects and customers with clarity and confidence.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with Product, Customer Success, and Research to ensure that customer insights and proof points inform positioning, roadmap discussions, and campaigns.
- Drive Customer Advocacy: Establish scalable processes to identify and amplify customer advocates across campaigns, events, and media channels.
Who You Are
- 8–10+ years of experience in product marketing, customer marketing, or technical marketing - with a strong background in cybersecurity and SaaS.
- Deep technical fluency - able to understand and communicate complex product architectures, data flows, and security outcomes.
- Proven ability to extract and package measurable customer proof points that drive credibility and sales momentum.
- Exceptional writing and storytelling skills - able to distill complexity into accessible, compelling narratives.
- Highly collaborative and comfortable working across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success.
- Operates with a hands-on, executional mindset and thrives in an IC role with wide organizational impact.
- Strong presentation skills for both technical and business audiences.
Nice to Have
- Experience in managed security services (MSSP, MDR, or SOC).
- Familiarity with building interactive demo systems or product simulations.
- Experience with tools for story mining and testimonial management.
