BDR public governmental sector (Part-Time)

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Part-Time Business Development Specialist to lead our engagement with government ministries and public-sector agencies.

This role focuses on identifying opportunities, engaging with public and governmental bodies, and offering them our relevant solutions and services.

The ideal candidate understands the unique structure, processes, and decision-making frameworks of government bodies and can build long-term, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders.

The goal of this role is to identify opportunities and help grow and expand our work with public and governmental bodies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with government ministries, agencies, and affiliated public bodies.
• Identify opportunities for Machine Learning and Data Science solutions within public-sector projects.
• Lead and support full procurement cycles, including requirements review, documentation preparation, and coordination with internal teams.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for government stakeholders throughout long, complex business processes.
• Track upcoming tenders, RFI/RFP opportunities, and relevant technology initiatives across the public sector.
  
  

• 3+ years of proven experience in B2G sales or working directly with government ministries on technological solutions.
• Mandatory: Strong expertise in public-sector procurement, including familiarity with purchasing procedures, regulations, and relevant procurement officials.
• Basic understanding of Data Science and Machine Learning and their use cases in government environments.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and manage long-term relationships.
• Patience, professionalism, and the ability to navigate lengthy, structured decision-making processes.
• Independent, organized, and capable of managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
