We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Research & Development Engineer to join our advanced electrochemistry development team, working at the forefront of innovative technologies that shape the future of water treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Focus on the development of electro-oxidation and flow systems.
• Design, assemble and operate sophisticated experimental setups for testing electrodes and catalysts in various electrolysis processes.
• Plan, construct and execute flow system experiments to evaluate mass transfer, reaction kinetics and degradation rates of organic compounds.
• Perform in-depth data analysis, interpret experimental results and propose creative directions for future development.
• Collaborate effectively in a multi-disciplinary environment alongside process, materials and mechanical development teams.
• Prepare detailed technical reports and effectively communicate findings to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Materials or Chemical Engineering + Master's degree – required
• Proven experience in scientific or research work – required
• Strong knowledge of general electrochemistry and water electrolysis processes (PEM, AEM, alkaline) – required
• Experience in the fabrication and testing of electrodes and catalysts – advantage
• Experience with flow systems, mass transfer and kinetics of organic compound degradation – advantage
• Knowledge of analytical chemistry and membrane-based processes (RO/NF) – advantage
• Familiarity with water treatment processes – advantage
• High proficiency in English - required
