We are seeking a highly motivated Upstream Fermentation Biologist to join the team, leading the development and scale-up of fermentation processes from laboratory to industrial production.
Responsibilities:
• Develop, optimize, and monitor microbial fermentation processes in lab-scale and pilot-scale bioreactors.
• Work with microorganisms under sterile, controlled conditions.
• Collect, analyze, and experimental data; provide clear follow-up and reporting.
• Collaborate closely with Downstream, Engineering, and Analytical teams to support process integration and improvement.
Requirements:
• M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Biotechnology, Biology, Microbiology, or a related discipline.
• Hands-on experience with bioreactors, including large-scale systems — strong advantage.
• 3–5 years of experience working with microbial cultures, bioprocess parameters (pH, DO, temperature), and sterile techniques.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
