Salary Expectations: $110,000 - $130,000 + bonus

Piper Maddox are supporting a highly successful clean energy IPP as they continue to expand their business focused on community-scale and utility-scale projects. The Investments & Structured Finance Associate will play a key role in supporting project finance, M&A, and capital market activities, contributing directly to the company’s continued expansion.

With over $1bl in capital secured to push forwards the energy transition industry, this business are expanding quickly given their huge success. Offering a fleet of offerings from financings through to engineering and deployment this platform are one of the strongest in the space, and continue to grow at a impressive rate.

What you will do:

• Develop and maintain detailed financial models to evaluate project economics, potential financings, and acquisition opportunities.
• Provide transaction support for project origination, RFP pricing, financing, and closing activities.
• Prepare investment memoranda and presentation materials for internal and external stakeholders, including financing counterparties and executive leadership.
• Support the structuring and execution of corporate and project-level debt, tax equity, and equity transactions.
• Coordinate due diligence processes, engaging with internal teams (operations, legal, accounting) and external advisors to ensure timely and accurate responses during transaction execution.
• Contribute to M&A and development activities to drive portfolio growth.

What you will have:

• 2-4 years of experience working with renewable energy project finance or investment banking.
• Strong understanding of project finance principles, transaction structures, and risk allocation in power generation.
• Demonstrated ability to create and present complex financial models and investment materials clearly and effectively.
• Advanced grasp of finance, accounting, and valuation methodologies.
• Team-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.
