Job Description

We are looking for a driven Revenue Controller who possesses excellent analytical abilities as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills. Key Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate revenue recognition in accordance with US GAAP and ASC 606, applying internal accounting policies and controls.
• Review sales contracts and coordinate with GTM, Legal, Order Management and FP&A to ensure appropriate accounting treatment.
• Perform monthly and quarterly revenue close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis and SOX controls.
• Manage revenue-related balance sheet closings and reconciliation.
• Support external audits and maintain strong documentation of revenue processes and controls.
• Provide revenue and business performance insights and handle ad-hoc data and reporting requests from management.
• Drive process improvement and automation within the revenue and accounting function, including building and maintaining automated dashboards and reconciliation reports (in Excel or BI tools).
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline and an active certified public accountant (CPA) certification - must.
• 4+ years of experience in accounting - with a strong preference for experience in revenue accounting.
• Big 4 accounting firm experience – must
• Experience in a SaaS or subscription-based business model.
• Deep understanding of revenue recognition principles (ASC 606).
• Proficiency with ERP systems (such as SAP, NetSuite, or Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
• Exposure to SOX controls and audit support.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
• Familiarity with automation tools and process improvements within finance.
