Now Hiring: VP Fire Service Education (Part-Time)

Job Status: Remote (Florida-Based Preferred)

Estimated Time Commitment: Average 10–15 Hours/Week

Five Bugles Institute is seeking an experienced fire service professional to serve as our VP of Fire Service Education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead curriculum development aligned with NFPA and Florida standards
• Maintain and update fire service course materials
• Recruit, mentor, and evaluate instructors
• Coordinate program scheduling and certification pathways (online/hybrid focus)
• Build partnerships with fire service agencies and academies
• Ensure FBI representation at conferences, trade shows, and industry events
• Support marketing, outreach, and recruitment
• Advise on new course development and program expansion

Minimum Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of NFPA and Florida fire service certification standards
• Florida Instructor III certification with Program Manager course (mandatory)
• Experience in curriculum development or training program management
• Demonstrated leadership and communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or higher preferred
