What You’ll Do

• Develop high-quality, maintainable, and scalable software — mainly in Python.
• Build automation and infrastructure tools that transform how computational biologists work.
• Collaborate closely with scientists to translate complex biological questions into elegant engineering solutions.
• Design and implement innovative algorithms in protein engineering.
• Help shape development standards, architecture, and technical direction.

Requirements

• Proven industry experience as a Software Engineer, with strong programming and software design skills.
• Excellent command of Python.
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS) or complex system architectures.
• Background or experience in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or Biochemistry — academic or professional — is required.
• Passion for building technology that drives real-world scientific breakthroughs.

Nice to Have

• Experience developing scientific or algorithmic software tools.
• Familiarity with Biotech, Pharma, or Chemical industries.
