SAP Team Lead

Location: OPC ENERGY headquarters – Azrieli Sarona building, near HaShalom train station, Tel Aviv.

Reports to: Applications Manager

Job Description:

End-to-end leadership of the SAP ERP area, including developing work plans, operational excellence (Run), project and upgrade management (Build), team and vendor management, and translating business needs into implementable solutions.

• Managing a team of SAP implementers according to modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, PM, etc.), process leaders/product owners, ABAP developers, integration (PI/PO/CPI), QA; matrix management of suppliers.
• Responsibility for managing, operating, and leading the SAP team in collaboration with the Business Applications Manager.
• Developing and leading a multi-year annual work plan for ERP: goals, prioritization, and execution.
• Managing budget, contracts, and SOWs with suppliers; defining and managing KPIs for suppliers.
• Responsibility for governance and compliance (SOX/ITGC), application information security, and permissions.
• Overall responsibility for meeting SLAs for faults and services in core systems.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a relevant technological field.
• 5+ years of experience in managing the SAP ERP applications area.
• Expertise in one or more of the core modules: FI/CO, MM, SD, PM.
• At least 2-4 years of experience in managing and leading technological development and implementation teams.
• Experience working with fault management tools, system monitoring, and technological documentation tools.

Advantage:

• Expertise in the core modules: SD, FI/CO.
• Previous background in a public company, energy, Retail.
• Experience in managing teams according to CI/CD processes and Agile methodologies.
• Basic knowledge and experience in ABAP for understanding code and quality control.
