Engineering Team Lead

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Engineering Team Lead to lead our technical team and drive innovation across data-driven projects. This role blends hands-on engineering leadership with strategic pre-sales engagement, making it ideal for a candidate who thrives in both technical execution and customer-facing environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage engineering teams, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement
• Own and execute technical pre-sales conversations with clients, translating business needs into scalable solutions
• Oversee the development and delivery of complex data projects, ensuring high performance and reliability
• Collaborate with business partners and stakeholders to align engineering efforts with strategic goals
• Act as a technical advisor in client engagements, supporting solution design, architecture, and integration
• Maintain a 50/50 balance between hands-on engineering work and strategic pre-sales activities
• Drive innovation and best practices in data engineering, architecture, and analytics
• Build and nurture long-term relationships with customers, ensuring satisfaction and technical success

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering, with a strong background in data project development
• Proven experience managing engineering teams or R&D departments and mentoring technical talent
• Demonstrated success in leading pre-sales discussions and technical scoping with clients
• Deep understanding of micro services, data pipelines, including architecture, ML models, LLM tuning
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience working with business partners and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
• Strategic thinker with hands-on capabilities and a passion for solving complex problems
