Mechanical Engineer- 3576

A leading company in the defense industry is seeking a Mechanical Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide engineering support for existing products throughout their lifecycle.
• Design and develop jigs, fixtures and packaging solutions.
• Improve processes and optimize production lines.
• Prepare assembly instructions in close collaboration with technical writers.
• Create part numbers and BOMs in the company’s systems.
• Manage engineering changes (ECOs) within the CCB forum.
• Prepare production files, define special processes, and establish critical control points.
• Support serial production activities.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, and procurement.
• Provide engineering support for production issues and troubleshooting.
• Conduct technical investigations and failure analyses.
• Participate in regulatory aspects when required.
• Ensure product quality and adherence to project timelines.
• Contribute to the design and development of new products.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering – mandatory.
• ~5 years of relevant experience in a similar role within industry.
• Proven experience in designing production Systems and tools – mandatory.
• Experience in designing test rigs – advantage.
• Strong background in machining design, 3D modeling, die casting, sheet metal, CNC and plastic product design – significant advantage.
• Hands-on experience with PDM/PLM systems.
• Experience creating BOMs and product structures – mandatory.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks – mandatory.
• High level of English (spoken and written).
• Strong commitment, accountability, and initiative.
• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work with multiple interfaces and be an active partner in cross-departmental collaboration.
• System-level thinking with strong attention to detail.
