DevOps Team lead

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Core Team Lead to guide and support a team of DevOps and Software Engineers. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in cloud infrastructure, data services, Kubernetes, and DevOps methodologies, along with the leadership skills to foster collaboration and deliver high-impact results.

What You’ll Do

• Lead, mentor, and support a team of engineers, promoting a culture of collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement.
• Play a key role in roadmap planning — from project inception and design through deployment, operations, and maintenance.
• Define team goals, set priorities, and ensure on-time delivery of infrastructure projects and improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional DevOps teams to align and optimize shared processes and standards.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and decision-making.
• Balance velocity and stability in production systems.
• Stay partially hands-on (20–30%) with critical projects and initiatives.
• Continuously modernize DevOps practices to drive efficiency, agility, and performance across the organization.
• Implement best-in-class tools and automation to ensure scalability, reliability, and observability of the production environment.
• Establish standards and frameworks to be adopted across all DevOps teams.

What You’ll Need

• 2+ years of experience in a managerial or team lead role, with a strong track record of mentoring and guiding technical teams.
• 3+ years of hands-on DevOps experience in a production environment.
• 3+ years managing cloud infrastructure as code (GCP or AWS).
• 3+ years of experience working with Kubernetes and its ecosystem.
• Solid understanding of DevOps methodologies such as GitOps, Helm, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment patterns.
• Familiarity with network concepts and WAF.
• Hands-on experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, Terragrunt, or OpenTofu.
• Experience with data pipelines or Apache Beam — an advantage.
• Knowledge of Cloudflare — a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, or similar CI/CD tools — an advantage.
