We’re looking for a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our Engineering team, in designing Ormat’s power plants and geothermal fields. If you’re passionate about innovative energy solutions and thrive in a dynamic environment, this is your opportunity!

What You’ll Do

• Design station layouts, optimize equipment placement, and ensure efficient use of space.
• Develop piping systems connecting power plant equipment, wells, and geothermal fluid production/injection facilities.
• Collaborate across departments for mechanical integration and optimal techno-economic design.
• Design special equipment units such as separators, tanks, and silencers.
• Provide technical support during construction and operation, solving mechanical challenges on-site.

What We’re Looking For

• Mechanical Engineering degree – mandatory.
• Proven experience in mechanical design - mandatory. Additionally, experience with the design of piping systems, and pressure vessels – advantage.
• Experience with piping design software (AutoCAD, Bentley OpenPlant) – advantage.
• Understanding of international standards – advantage.
• Experience with SAP and TeamCenter - advantagee.
