SQL Database Administrator

Application DBA – Leading Organization in Tel Aviv

We are looking for an experienced Application DBA to join a leading organization in Tel Aviv. The role involves managing and optimizing database performance, designing and developing databases, planning and creation, supporting developers, optimizing ETL processes, and capacity planning for growth. This is a key role within the BI department.

Responsibilities:

• Database management, design, and development
• Performance optimization and tuning of SQL Server databases
• Supporting developers with SQL coding, testing, and query optimization
• Planning and capacity management to support organizational growth
• Collaborating with BI and development teams to design and implement solutions

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent advanced courses – required
• 5+ years of experience as an Application & Infrastructure DBA – SQL Server – required
• 3–5 years of experience working with BI systems – required
• 3+ years of experience writing complex SQL queries, functions, and stored procedures, including code review for developers – required
• 3+ years of experience providing support for solution design and specifications, working closely with development teams – required
• 5+ years of experience in SQL performance tuning – required
• Experience in database design and specification, including functional and technical requirement gathering – advantage
• Experience as an Infrastructure DBA – Oracle – advantage
• Experience with NoSQL databases – advantage
