Mechanical Assembler/Field Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Assembler/Field Service Technician for a cutting-edge medical devices company. You will split your time between our workshop/factory and field assignments. You will assemble, install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair medical mechanical/electromechanical equipment, ensuring high-quality, reliable performance and outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble mechanical and electromechanical components, subassemblies, and final systems in accordance with ATP/ATR, engineering drawings, schematics, instructions, manuals, and company quality standards.

• Perform installation and startup of equipment at customer sites, including adjustment, calibration, and integration with any required interfaces.

• Provide maintenance, preventive servicing, repair, and diagnostics of mechanical/electromechanical systems in the field (worldwide).

• Collaborate with engineering / R&D / customer support teams to report issues, suggest improvements, and incorporate feedback into product design or service procedures.

• Ensure customer satisfaction: communicate clearly with customers on site, demonstrate proper operation of equipment, and provide training as needed.

• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and organization of both workshop and field work sites; follow all safety, regulatory, and company policies.

• Travel as required: site visits within Israel, possibly abroad. Be on call when needed.

Requirements:

• Technical education: High School Diploma plus technical training; Practical Engineer / Technician degree or similar is a strong plus.

• Proven experience (e.g., 1-3+ years) in mechanical assembly, field servicing, or electromechanical systems.

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and work orders.

• Solid mechanical skills: assembly, alignment, calibration; use of hand and power tools; familiarity with pneumatic/hydraulic/electromechanical components.

• Good diagnostic / troubleshooting skills.

• Strong interpersonal / communication skills; ability to work independently in the field and collaborate with in-house teams.

• Valid driving license; readiness to travel.

• Fluent in Hebrew; good English (written & spoken) is highly desirable.
