Director for the Government Sector

KPMG is seeking a Director for the Government Sector to join our GRCS & Goverment Department.

The position is based in Jerusalem & Tel Aviv and involves working closely with public sector clients.

• Leading KPMG’s activities with government ministries, government-owned companies, and security organizations, combined with business development responsibilities.
• Managing strategic clients and leading complex projects in the public sector.
• The role includes responsibility for building a growth strategy, developing value propositions, representing the firm to senior executives, and managing a professional team.
  
  

• Significant governmental experience — senior managerial role within a government ministry.
• Familiarity with regulatory processes and the ability to manage complex projects.
• Strong financial and operational understanding, strategic thinking, and strong capabilities in managing complex client relationships.
• Innovation and digital expertise — familiarity with government technologies, GovTech, AI, and ERP systems.
• Strong leadership and influence skills — team management, process leadership, and cross-organizational collaboration.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and the ability to represent the firm to senior leadership.
• Experience with government tenders and development of value propositions — an advantage.
• Experience working with security organizations (IDF, Police, IPS) — an advantage.
• Background in strategic consulting or project management in the public sector — an advantage.
