Software Engineer

A leading global high-tech company in the cybersecurity space, specializing in cloud security and CDN solutions. The company provides advanced protection against bots, cyberattacks, and digital threats, safeguarding the trust, digital assets, and reputation of major global brands.

Headquartered in Tel Aviv (near the train line), it operates a hybrid model with two days in the office (with flexibility for additional remote days if needed) and employs thousands worldwide, including around 700 in Israel.

The company is American and works with Fortune 500 organizations globally.

The Role:

• Part of the Cloud Security Intelligence (CSI) team, reporting to the team lead
• Develop and operate intelligence-driven products for detecting and responding to large-scale security threats
• Build and optimize data pipelines using Spark, Delta Lake, Airflow, and Databricks
• Integrate AI/ML models into production environments to deliver real-time insights
• Work with Kubernetes, Kafka, ELK stack, Prometheus, Grafana, and other related technologies
• Develop primarily in Scala and Java

Requirements:

• 5 years of experience in backend/data engineering, preferably in Big Data environments
• BSc in Computer Science or a related field
• Proficient in Java/Scala and frameworks such as Spring Boot
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Experience working with large-scale data systems and distributed architectures
• Understanding of core ML concepts, including supervised/unsupervised learning, model lifecycle, and evaluation metrics
