Quality Assurance Group Lead

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced QA Group Leader to lead multiple teams responsible for manual and automated software testing. The role includes both professional and people management, responsibility for the company’s QA strategy, driving innovation in testing methodologies, and leading cross-organizational processes in collaboration with R&D, DevOps, Integration, and Project Management teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide professional and managerial leadership to the QA group, including several manual and automation teams.
• Own and drive the company-wide QA strategy, ensuring alignment with evolving business and project needs.
• Develop annual and quarterly work plans, define objectives and KPIs, and oversee execution and delivery timelines.
• Introduce and implement innovative QA methodologies and best practices, leveraging advanced testing and automation tools.
• Manage the full QA documentation lifecycle (STP, STD, STR) and oversee end-to-end testing processes—manual and automated.
• Promote CI/CD and test automation processes across development pipelines.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Development, Project Management, Integration, and System Engineering teams.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop QA professionals, providing continuous feedback and career growth opportunities.
• Ensure release quality through defect analysis, root cause reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to strategic decisions regarding Total Quality Management (TQM) across all company products.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience managing QA teams—including staff, schedules, and processes.
• Proven experience working with multi-disciplinary and cross-functional teams.
• Hands-on background as a manual or automation QA engineer.
• Experience testing web-based systems—mandatory.
• Proficiency with test management tools such as Jira, TestRail, or similar—advantage.
• Demonstrated experience in automation testing (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium)—significant advantage.
• Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies—advantage.
• Experience leading CI/CD and Automation Strategy processes—advantage.
