Senior Backend Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Backend Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for backend development of a complex system, collaborating closely with the product team to solve technical challenges and enhance the product using data-driven insights. You’ll play a key role in system architecture, hands-on coding, and performance optimization. We work primarily with Java and modern backend technologies, and are looking for someone passionate about building robust, scalable systems in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement backend solutions with a strong focus on hands-on coding.
• Collaborate with the product team to tackle technical challenges and optimize the product using data insights.
• Contribute to the design and architecture of scalable backend systems.
• Prioritize and manage tasks across the software development lifecycle.
• Ensure software functionality, performance, and security.
• Maintain and oversee open-source dependencies, ensuring compliance and security.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in backend development for complex systems.
• Experience in Java with a willingness to work in a Java-based environment.
• Proficiency in advanced SQL.
• Experience with Spring framework.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture, SaaS systems, and scalable backend solutions.
• Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with agile development and test-driven methodologies.
• Self-motivated, independent learner, and team player.
• Bonus: Experience with Python, Scala, or MongoDB.
