We're looking for a Data Protection Officer to lead privacy compliance initiatives for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as primary data protection authority for clients across multiple jurisdictions
- Lead GDPR, CCPA, and privacy framework implementations
- Develop data protection policies, procedures, and documentation
- Conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and privacy risk assessments
- Manage data breach response and regulatory notifications
- Liaise with supervisory authorities and provide strategic privacy counsel
- Design privacy training programs and monitor emerging regulations
Requirements:
- Legal background (law degree preferred) OR extensive GRC/compliance experience with privacy focus
- Deep understanding of data protection regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
- Excellent English and Hebrew communication
- Strong analytical skills with privacy-first mindset
- Ability to work with C-level executives and regulatory bodies
- Cross-functional collaboration with legal, IT, and business teams
Advantages:
- DPO certification (CIPP/E, CIPM, or equivalent)
- Prior DPO or Privacy Officer experience
- Technical background with privacy/GRC expertise
- Military intelligence background (8200 unit preferred)
