We’re looking for a talented and motivated Platform Software Engineer with strong design, coding, and debugging skills — and the passion to lead and mentor others.

In this role, you’ll take part in developing core components of our large-scale, distributed data-path system — from high-level features to low-level implementation close to the hardware.

What You’ll Do

• Design and develop platform features, including both front-end and back-end aspects.
• Work closely with the hardware layer (e.g., BSP, I2C, IPMI).
• Drive complex projects from design to production.
• Collaborate with multiple teams across disciplines.
• Lead by example — mentor team members and contribute to a culture of technical excellence.

About The Team

The Data-Path group provides the core components of our products — designing and developing data plane features for large-scale distributed systems. We own areas such as forwarding information base (FIB), quality of service (QoS), security, and telemetry.

Requirements

Minimum requirements:

• Profound knowledge and proven experience in C/C++ (at least 5 years), both in design and development.
• Experience with multi-threaded programming
  
  

Highly Desired

• BSc degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• Experience with Linux and shell scripting
• Experience with Python programming
• Knowledge in IPMI, BSP, I2C
  
  

Advantages

• Proficiency in development in docker containers environment
• Proficiency in Linux drivers
