Cybersecurity Specialist

A leading financial organization is seeking an experienced Information Cybersecurity Specialist to join its security and risk management unit. The role focuses on oversight of security technologies and controls, ensuring their effective implementation and continuous alignment with organizational security policies and cybersecurity standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify, map, and assess information security and cybersecurity risks.

Monitor and measure the effectiveness of implemented technological controls.

Evaluate the performance and resilience of security systems and tools.

Initiate and define security requirements for technological projects and follow up on their implementation.

Draft and maintain information security policies and procedures.

Conduct ongoing control activities on deployed security products.

Provide professional evaluations on security architecture, user access, and overall product security posture.

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of proven experience in information security roles.

Deep understanding of IT infrastructure and security technologies.

Hands-on experience in integrating and implementing security tools and solutions.

Proven experience in drafting security requirements and supporting security projects.

Familiarity with cybersecurity risk assessment methodologies.

Experience in performing control activities and verifying implementation of security measures.

Experience with automated penetration testing tools – an advantage.

Relevant information security certifications – an advantage.

Experience working with banking or financial systems – an advantage.

Proficiency in English (spoken and written).

Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.

Independent, proactive, and capable of leading end-to-end processes.

Fast learner with a high level of service orientation.
