Storage Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Storage Engineer to join our Core Infrastructure Department, responsible for the company’s servers, storage, networking, and database systems.

In this role, you will design, manage, and maintain enterprise storage systems using NetApp and DellEMC technologies. You’ll ensure optimal performance, high availability, and robust data security across all environments, while collaborating closely with IT, DevOps, and development teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain, monitor, and optimize enterprise storage systems (NetApp FAS, AFF, E-Series; DellEMC Xtremio, Isilon, VNX).
• Manage SAN environments (Cisco MDS, zoning).
• Perform version upgrades and implement new storage solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve storage-related incidents and performance issues.
• Plan and implement automated backup and disaster recovery solutions (Snapshot, SnapMirror, SnapVault).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT and development needs.
• Conduct performance and capacity analysis, and ensure compliance with security policies.
• Document systems, configurations, and operational procedures.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Storage Engineer in large-scale environments - Must
• In-depth knowledge of Linux (RedHat), VMware, and network configuration - Must
• Hands-on experience with NFS/CIFS, TCP/IP, VLANs, and trunking - Must
• Experience with monitoring tools (Grafana, Cacti) - Must
• Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, and Ansible - Must
• Familiarity with virtualization platforms (VMware, Proxmox, OpenShift) - Must
• Expertise in performance tuning and systemd-based service management - Must
• Solid understanding of DNS, routing (OSPF, BGP, MPLS), and network security - Must
• Advantage: experience in ISP environments - Must
