We’re a newly funded startup at the intersection of cybersecurity and AI, on a mission to help

organizations move fast and adapt to change while maintaining and upholding security.

You’ll be one of the first technical hires on the core team, working closely with the founders to

turn our vision into a product customers love.

This role blends deep individual contribution with broad technical leadership — the kind of Tech

Lead/Staff/Principal impact where you set the bar, shape architecture, and ship real value in

short cycles.

What you’ll do

● Own v0 → v1: design and build core product components, APIs, and data pipelines;

choose pragmatic architectures and iterate quickly with design partners.

● Build with cutting-edge tech: work on (and with) modern technologies to deliver a

first-of-its-kind product.

● Be the technical bar: lead design reviews, set engineering standards, mentor others,

and dive hands-on to unblock the hardest problems.

● Security by design: embed threat modeling and secure-by-default patterns; make

security a first-class product feature, not an afterthought.

● Detection & resilience: instrument telemetry and logging; shape our approach across

prevention, detection, and response.

● Ship the platform: stand up CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, observability, and an initial

on-call posture suitable for an early product.

● Work across the company: talk to customers, support pilots, and translate feedback

into roadmap and engineering priorities.

● Hire the team: partner with the founders on the hiring loop and help define engineering

culture and career ladders as we grow.

What makes you a great fit

● 8+ years building and operating production software, with recent experience leading

complex projects as a Tech Lead/Staff/Principal (IC or manager-turned-builder).

● Strong systems thinking and product sense — you balance correctness, risk, and speed

for a seed-stage startup.

● Fluency in modern cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure), containers, IaC, CI/CD, and observability.

● Comfortable working directly with customers and founders, wearing many hats, and

moving from prototype to production with crisp trade-offs.

● Full-stack awareness: familiar with all layers of the stack — frontend,

backend/services, data, and infrastructure — and how they interact in real systems.

● Mission-driven partner: committed and devoted to the mission; you partner with the

founders and lead by example toward company success.

● Curious and innovative: you explore, prototype, measure, and bring new ideas that

raise the bar.

Nice to have

● Experience operating at scale and building resilient, reliable, long-lasting systems.

● Hands-on security engineering experience in one or more areas: application security,

identity & access, cloud security posture, secrets & key management, security data

pipelines, or runtime detection/response.

● Experience applying or building with AI/ML (e.g., detection, triage, developer tooling, or

workflow automation).

● Prior early-stage startup experience or greenfield architecture leadership; growing with

a company from day zero to maturity.

● Background in data platforms, streaming/analytics, or security telemetry.
