Your Role

• Lead the development and enhancement of cutting-edge algorithms for state-of-the-art ultrasound medical imaging systems, holding overall responsibility for algorithmic tasks within the product lifecycle.
• Support and develop the MLOps infrastructure to streamline model deployment, scaling, and maintenance, ensuring efficient operations and continuous integration.
• Implement new algorithmic modules with a focus on computer vision and artificial intelligence to drive innovative solutions.
• Engage in data science and analytics, including:
• Deep learning data preparation and preprocessing.
• Design and optimization of deep learning networks for tasks such as classification, segmentation, and tracking.
• Solve complex computer vision and machine learning challenges through research, testing, and analysis of algorithmic components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate algorithms into end products and contribute to project strategy and execution.
  

What Do You Need to Succeed?

• A minimum of a B.Sc. in Exact Sciences (Computer Science, Electrical/Electro-optical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Biomedical Engineering) or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of practical experience in algorithm development within the fields of computer vision, machine learning, and deep learning.
• Strong programming skills with expertise in Python and C++, including familiarity with libraries and frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
• Demonstrated ability to independently design and implement end-to-end algorithm solutions, from problem analysis and mathematical formulation to software development.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) to support MLOps practices.
• A proactive and creative mindset, capable of self-learning and adapting to new technologies and methodologies.
• Ability to effectively work both independently and as part of a team, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
• Excellent communication skills, with the capability to articulate complex technical concepts to various stakeholders.
• Familiarity with agile development processes and version control systems (e.g., Git) for collaboration and project management.
  
  

Additional Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with medical imaging techniques and domain knowledge in healthcare technology.
• Knowledge of software development best practices, testing methodologies, and performance optimization.
• Experience with developing multi-modal models, integrating different data types such as images, text, and audio to create comprehensive solutions.
• Experience with large language models (LLMs) and techniques for natural language processing and understanding.
• Publications or contributions in relevant scientific conferences or journals.
  
  

How We Work Together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.

Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.

Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
