Vice President Finance

We’re looking for our first VP Finance to shape the financial foundation that will drive Kela’s next stage of growth.This is a hands-on, high-impact role for a strategic finance leader who wants to build, not just manage.The role includes both strategic planning and day-to-day execution, partnering closely with the leadership team to bring clarity, discipline, and creativity to everything related to finance, growth, and scale.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the company’s financial strategy by designing and executing long-term plans, scenario modeling, and capital allocation aligned with business goals.
• Build Kela’s finance infrastructure, including ERP and BI implementation, automation of order-to-cash and procure-to-pay processes, and management of runway and burn.
• Own FP&A and insights by developing rolling forecasts, KPI dashboards, and board materials that support quick, data-driven decisions.
• Ensure compliance and control across IL and US GAAP, tax, transfer pricing, and multi-entity reporting.
• Manage purchasing and operations, including inventory procurement, vendor negotiations, and cost control for hardware operations in Europe and the U.S.
• Drive operational excellence by improving unit economics, increasing margins, and providing real-time insights for product and GTM teams.
• Build and lead a strong, small finance team from the ground up.
• Partner with investors by crafting the financial story, leading fundraising readiness and due diligence, and maintaining strong relationships with investors, VCs, and the board.

Requirements

• 8+ years of senior finance experience in high-growth tech companies (Series B–D, global operations).
• CPA or CFA certification.
• Proven experience building and scaling finance functions from scratch.
• Deep understanding of accounting (IL and US GAAP), FP&A, treasury, and tax (including U.S. frameworks).
• Experience managing multi-entity operations and distributed teams across IL, EU, and the U.S.
• Strong background in vendor management and inventory finance.
• Expertise in financial planning, modeling, and strategic decision-making.
• Trusted partner to CEOs, leadership teams, investors and, the Board.
• Comfortable managing all aspects of finance, from cash flow and audit to compliance and governance.
