Java Technical Lead

A rapidly growing technology company is looking for an experienced Staff Engineer to take a leading role in designing and developing cloud-based software systems. About the Role:

You will lead full-cycle development projects—from defining requirements and architecture through implementation and deployment. The role involves working with modern Java frameworks and cloud platforms, improving CI/CD infrastructure, and guiding engineering standards across teams. You’ll also have the opportunity to apply Generative AI tools to enhance productivity and innovation in software development.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead technical projects from planning and design through coding, testing, and delivery

Build and maintain scalable applications using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot

Manage deployment processes on major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

Enhance and optimize CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery

Integrate AI-assisted development tools into daily engineering practices

Mentor and support other engineers, promoting technical excellence and collaboration

Contribute to long-term technical strategy and architecture decisions

Requirements

8+ years of experience in software development, with strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot

Proven background in cloud-based application design and deployment

Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and automation

Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar)

Ability to lead complex projects end-to-end while staying involved in hands-on coding

Passion for mentoring and technical leadership

• Currently operating as a Staff Engineer or Technical Lead (or ready to step into such a role)
