A leading global company is seeking an experienced SQL DBA to join its growing technology team. The role involves maintaining and optimizing large-scale production databases, ensuring high availability and performance, and collaborating closely with development and operations teams to support business continuity and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain production SQL databases, ensuring stability and optimal performance.
• Perform Performance Tuning, Indexing, and Query Optimization to enhance system efficiency.
• Implement and manage Backup & Recovery strategies and ensure HA/DR (High Availability/Disaster Recovery) readiness.
• Monitor database health, troubleshoot complex issues, and proactively identify potential risks.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to design and deploy database solutions that meet business needs.
• Ensure database security, integrity, and compliance with company policies and standards.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience as an SQL DBA.
• Strong expertise in Performance Tuning, Indexing, and Query Optimization.
• Proven experience with Backup & Recovery processes and HA/DR configurations.
• Proficiency in T-SQL scripting and automation.
• Experience working in a global environment – an advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
