Join Amdocs’ GenAI & Data innovation hub as a hands-on technical leader driving the design and development of next-generation AI systems. You’ll translate ambitious ideas into robust architectures, lead experimentation with cutting-edge AI tools, and help bring breakthrough concepts from prototype to production — all within a fast-moving, startup-style team inside a global enterprise.

What will your job look like?

• Own the technical design and architecture of advanced GenAI systems and multi-agent frameworks across multiple innovation streams.
• Work side-by-side with product innovators and data scientists to evaluate new GenAI technologies, APIs, and frameworks — translating potential into practical solutions.
• Design and build prototypes and PoCs, validating technical feasibility, scalability, and business impact.
• Drive best practices in model orchestration, vector storage, context management, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
• Collaborate with internal R&D and engineering groups to transition successful innovations into production-grade architectures.
• Evaluate external technologies and startups for potential integration or partnership, contributing to build-vs-buy decisions.
• Mentor and guide other engineers and AI specialists, fostering a culture of curiosity, technical excellence, and experimentation.
• Operate with a startup mentality — agile, resourceful, and comfortable with fast pivots and evolving priorities.
  
  

• 8+ years of experience in software architecture, AI/ML engineering
• Proven experience designing or implementing GenAI systems — including prompt orchestration, RAG pipelines, multi-agent frameworks, or LLM integration.
• Strong coding skills in Python (and optionally JavaScript, Go, or Java) with hands-on experience in frameworks like LangChain, Langgraph, Hugging Face, OpenAI APIs, etc.
• Good understanding of cloud-native architecture (AWS, GCP, Azure) and distributed data systems.
• Ability to prototype quickly, balancing technical depth with iterative delivery.
• Strong communication and presentation skills — capable of articulating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Entrepreneurial mindset: resourceful, adaptable, and comfortable navigating ambiguity.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, AI, or a related technical field.
