Splunk Engineer

We at Amarel are looking for a Splunk Engineer

to join a Splunk-based Data Lake establishment project. The role requires extensive experience in Splunk infrastructure installation and management, as well as experience with complex system implementations.

Areas of Responsibility

Splunk Infrastructure Installation and Management: Installation, configuration, and maintenance of Splunk environments, as well as infrastructure optimization for improved performance and scalability.

ETL Processes and Data Streaming to Splunk: Development of ETL processes for loading data into the system, ensuring data integrity and completeness, and efficient implementation for each data type.

User Permission Management and Data Access: Implementation and management of permissions and roles settings, complying with policies defined by the organization and clients, as well as Splunk best practices.

Development of Dashboards, Visualizations, Analytics, and Alerts: Development and customization of dashboards and visualizations, implementation of search queries, reports and complex analytics, as well as creating alerts.

Integration with Other Systems: Development of interfaces to other systems that consume data from Splunk, through APIs or via Splunk entities.

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience in Splunk development
• Familiarity with ETL processes and data streaming to Splunk
• Experience with user permission management and data access in Splunk
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Shell scripting
• Official Splunk certifications – an advantage
• Familiarity with JavaScript, ELK – an advantage
• Familiarity with additional data analytics tools and technologies – an advantage
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or other relevant field – an advantage
