Fundraising and Development Officer – Housidman Youth Center for Science Education, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev

The Housidman Youth Center for Science Education at Ben-Gurion University is seeking a Fundraising and Development Officer to help expand and strengthen the Center’s impact on science education for youth in Israel.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement fundraising strategies in coordination with the Vice President for External Affairs and Resource Development.

• Identify, approach, and cultivate new funding sources — including private donors, companies, and foundations.

• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing donors and partners.

• Initiate and coordinate donor visits and presentations to promote the Center’s programs.

• Prepare project proposals, partnership cards, and reports for donors.

• Analyze donation and income data, update databases, and prepare periodic fundraising reports.

Requirements:

• Academic degree (Bachelor’s minimum).

• At least two years of relevant experience in fundraising, partnerships, or related areas.

• Proven experience in donor relations and resource development.

• Excellent command of English.

• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.

• Availability for occasional irregular working hours.

Position scope: 60% position.
