Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled Support Engineer with a strong technical background and a deep understanding of cellular and telecommunication technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in providing technical support and working with complex systems in the telecom environment. This role requires a proactive individual with strong analytical abilities, excellent communication skills, and a passion for solving technical challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced technical support to customers, including troubleshooting and resolving complex system issues.
- Respond to support tickets, identify root causes, and deliver clear, step-by-step guidance to customers.
- Perform system installation, configuration, and integration of company products at customer sites.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to escalate and resolve critical issues efficiently.
- Maintain and update technical documentation, including knowledge base articles and configuration guides.
- Monitor system performance, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure high system availability.
- Deliver professional customer service, ensuring user satisfaction and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Participate in technical training and continuous improvement processes to stay updated on new technologies.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in technical support or customer service roles.
- Strong understanding of telecommunication technologies, with emphasis on cellular systems (2G/3G/4G/5G). -MUST
- Solid knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, and system administration.
- Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Experience working with databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with a structured problem-solving approach.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability and willingness to travel abroad (up to 10%).
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently or in a team environment.
