Resource Development Professional

The Matzmihim Academy seeks an enthusiastic and creative Resource Development professional to join a dynamic and ambitious Development team and participate in the full range of fundraising activities, taking responsibility for expanding the organization’s donor base and driving the organization’s growth.

Job Status: Full-time; the position is hybrid (the organization’s offices are in Petah Tikvah); Salary range: 13,000 – 15,000

As a member of the Matzmihim Development team, You Get To:

·       Take responsibility for the full range of resource development activities (prospect research, grant writing, producing donor-driven reports, responding to calls for proposals, creating donor-driven marketing material);

·       Draft correspondence, LOIs, and other supporting documents, adapting to the needs of each donor and prospect;

·       Take responsibility for broadening the donor base, as well as cultivating existing strategic relationships;

·       Prepare detailed and accurate budgets to accompany all relevant donor-driven narratives;

·       Work with the team to capture relevant data that informs grant reports and other development material;

·       Work with the team to develop new income revenues that fully align with the organization’s mission;

·       Have responsibility for planning and preparing donor meetings;

·       Have responsibility for tracking grant cycles and donor engagement in an organized and streamlined manner, including all reporting requirements, check-in meetings, and donor cultivation activities.

This Job Is For You If You:

·       Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a development role;

·       Have demonstrated success in writing successful grants, reports and the full gamut of written donor communications;

·       Have faultless English and impeccable writing skills;

·       Have excellent Hebrew writing skills;

·       Are a warm, socially-minded professional with proven experience preparing and leading donor meetings;

·       Are familiar with data management;

·       Have proven experience preparing detailed budgets on Excel spreadsheets;

·       Can complete projects with exceptional attention to detail and efficiency;

·       Are action-oriented and flexible, and are able to work independently as well as to collaborate with colleagues;

·       Are personable, motivated, and a team player;

·       Can multi-task and prioritize, and are a quick learner;

·       Are detail-oriented, organized, enthusiastic, and energetic;

·       Can manage multiple projects and priorities while consistently meeting deadlines.
