Location: Tel Aviv, Israel (Hybrid: 1-2 days working from home)

Salary: 18,000 ILS PM

We are currently looking for a talented and meticulous Payroll Accountant to join our dedicated payroll department.

The Role

As a Payroll Accountant, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely management of the firm's payroll process, ensuring full compliance with all regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide professional service and support to employees regarding payroll matters.

• Manage ongoing payroll processing from start to finish.

• Prepare final settlements, accurately calculate severance pay, and handle mandatory documentation like Form 161.

• Apply extensive knowledge of labor laws, taxation, and National Insurance related directly or indirectly to employee compensation.

• Monitor data accuracy in the payroll system and conduct thorough monthly payroll audits.

• Analyze, review, and control salary payments and benefits.

• Implement new wage agreements and effectively monitor their application.

• Handle special compensation cases, including reserve duty compensation, work injury payments, and maternity leave processing.

Essential Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience in the payroll field.

• Must be a Certified Payroll Accountant (mandatory).

• Proven experience processing payroll for a large volume of employees (\approx500–1,000).

• Proficiency in Excel is mandatory.

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of the Har-Gal system is an advantage.

• Strong time management, accuracy, organization, and exceptional attention to detail.
