Position Overview

This is a senior hands-on group management role, leading three development teams (about 15 engineers in total).

The ideal candidate is an experienced Embedded Software Group Manager — someone who has led multiple software teams (through team leaders), delivered complex real-time systems, and understands how to optimize software performance on custom hardware.

You’ll be joining the company’s AI division, where embedded software meets deep learning execution. You don’t need to be an AI researcher — but you must bring deep embedded expertise and the ability to lead teams that are integrating AI workloads and compiler technologies into embedded environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor three software development teams, including team leaders, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Define and execute the group’s roadmap for embedded software and AI model execution on heterogeneous platforms (CPU/DSP/NPU).
• Oversee the design and development of low-level runtime, optimization, and compiler-related components.
• Collaborate with global hardware and algorithms teams to achieve maximum system efficiency and scalability.
• Drive innovation, architecture discussions, and delivery of high-quality software under real-time and performance constraints.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Computer Science / Computer or Electrical Engineering (M.Sc./Ph.D. – advantage).
• At least 5 years of experience managing embedded software development groups, including leading team leads.
• Proven background in embedded software / real-time / low-level programming in C/C++.
• Solid understanding of performance optimization, memory management, and multi-core architectures.
• Experience delivering large-scale embedded software products in commercial or semiconductor environments.

Preferred / Advantageous Experience

• Exposure to AI-based or computer-vision products (TensorFlow, PyTorch, ONNX).
• Familiarity with compiler technologies or model optimization frameworks (TVM, XLA, MLIR).
• Experience with heterogeneous architectures (CPU/DSP/NPU) and software–hardware co-design.
• Understanding of quantization, vectorization, scheduling, and runtime optimization.
• Experience collaborating with global R&D teams.
