About the Company

A stealth-mode sports-tech venture developing a club-branded travel platform that helps football clubs simplify and monetize fan travel. The platform enables supporters to plan and book flights, trains, hotels, and experiences directly through their club, generating new digital revenues, richer fan data, and stronger engagement.

The company is already in commercial discussions with Inter Milan, Juventus, Benfica, Olympique Lyonnais, and Rangers, with additional offers and pilots in progress. The product is under development, backed by strong market validation and early traction.

About the Role

A Co-Founder & CTO to take full technical ownership - defining the architecture, leading development, and shaping the technology roadmap as we prepare for expansion.

The role will begin part-time during the pre-funding stage and evolve to a full-time position with salary once funding is secured. The ideal candidate combines hands-on technical leadership, DevOps or full-stack expertise, and an entrepreneurial mindset. A background or genuine interest in sports or travel is highly valued.

The CTO will play an active role in the fundraising process and share meaningfully in the company’s long-term success.

Responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing scalable system architecture and infrastructure
• Leading integrations across travel, data, and payment systems
• Setting up DevOps, cloud, and data frameworks from the ground up
• Collaborating on product direction and technical strategy
• Recruiting and mentoring the early engineering team post-funding

Qualifications

Required:

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in software development, architecture, or infrastructure
• Proven experience designing and deploying scalable web or mobile applications
• Strong proficiency in one or more of: React, Node.js, Python, or Go, with cloud experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Solid understanding of DevOps practices (CI/CD, containerization, IaC)
• Experience integrating with APIs, data systems, or third-party services
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across product and business functions
• Entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable working in early-stage, high-ownership environments

Preferred:

• Experience in travel-tech, marketplace, or sports-related platforms
• Prior involvement in startups, seed-stage ventures, or co-founding teams
• Familiarity with AI-driven recommendation systems or multi-modal travel data
• Passion for football or sports fan culture

Compensation and Terms

This is a pre-funding co-founder position, starting with equity-only compensation.

Once external funding is secured, the role transitions to a full-time salaried position.
