Back End Engineer

A fast-growing startup developing a platform that allows developers to easily integrate advanced biometric authentication methods fingerprint, selfie, voice recognition, or SMS into applications.

They have two main products: a CORE B2B platform for large enterprises (banks, insurance companies) that manages user authentication flows and integrates with external systems, and a SaaS product targeting smaller companies with the same capabilities.

Based in Tel Aviv near the train, hybrid work model (2 days from home), 300 employees globally, 145 in Israel.

The role-

• Join a team of 7 developers working on the company’s core product in Scala
• Develop customized authentication flows for strategic B2B clients
• Work on high-scale systems across all three cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Participate in on-call rotation approximately every 7 weeks (weekends) due to the critical nature of the system

Requirements-

• 5+ years of proven experience developing a multi-service platform for scale
• Strong, proven architectural and design skills
• Experienced with complex system design
• Experienced with either Scala, Java, or C#
• Good written & verbal communication in English
