AI Engineer

A startup developing an AI-powered data analysis platform for leading global hedge funds. The platform enables advanced processing and analysis of massive datasets from diverse sources, generating actionable business insights with cutting-edge AI technologies.

Founded this year, the company has 6 employees, operates from Tel Aviv (on the train line), and offers 1 day per week remote work.

The platform is already used by 50 active clients, including partnerships with two of the world’s largest hedge funds and two major U.S. banks, one of which is a strategic partner.

This is an early-stage opportunity with high impact, working closely with the founding team, contributing to key architectural and product decisions, and helping scale a high-value platform used by top-tier clients.

The role-

• Founding Engineer – join the Core team and play a central role in building the product.
• Work involves AI and LLM development combined with Full Stack development using React, TypeScript, NestJS, and Node.js.
• Willingness to work across software and AI development, with a focus on AI knowledge and ability to build from scratch.
• Python and other parts of the stack are advantages.
• Additional technologies include GraphQL and AWS.
• Report directly to the CTO.

Requirements-

• 6 years of professional experience – required
• Recent experience with Python – required
• Experience in AI/LLM or as a Data Engineer (Spark or Airflow) – required
• Managerial or architectural experience – significant advantage
• Experience in early-stage startups – advantage
