Role Background

Wolt is a Finnish technology company, and we’re best known for our food delivery platform. On our mobile app or website, customers can order their favorite meals from our restaurant partners, and either pick their order up or have it delivered by our courier partners. Just 2 years ago, Wolt operated in 4 countries and 10 cities across the Nordics. Fast forward to today, we’re in 23 countries and over 200 cities across EMEA, servicing over 10M registered users.

Our journey within Israel started in the fall of 2018. Since then, we’ve launched in over 40+ cities and the country has become one of our fastest-growing ‘Woltwide’.

Due to our increased growth, we're now looking for an Operations Expansion Associate to join our Operations Department in Tel Aviv. You’ll be acting as a key factor within the Expansion team in providing support for our future Courier Partners during their onboarding process and getting them ready for the upcoming launch or expansion.

By facilitating expansion-related challenges, you will become a knowledge center for expansion and onboarding-related topics. You will be one of the first faces/voices our Courier Partners encounter when they need help in their very beginning, so you need to make sure that their first experience with Wolt is phenomenal. You will be working closely with both our Expansion Specialist and your Expansion Lead, and help guide Couriers flawlessly across the different steps of the onboarding funnel, and help manage all parts of city launches and expansions (both pre-launch and post-launch).

In our Operations Team, life moves very fast, and there is no typical day, so to be successful in this role, you will need to be self-motivated, confident, and creative, possess leadership characteristics, and have excellent relationship-building skills.

What You'll Be Doing

Working on a full-time basis, Sun-Thursday

Guiding Courier Partners through every step of the onboarding funnel (By performing phone calls and messages) In order to make sure they have all the information they need as quickly as possible for partnering with us.

Conducting F2F Introductions for New Courier Partners

Executing online and offline streams of courier acquisition (Events, offline marketing initiatives, etc;)

Building and leading the core community of courier partners in new cities and acting as the main focal point for any CP New city-related aspects

Optimizing communications between the Operations team and new Courier Applicants while working closely with the engagement team.

Help monitor the demand/supply balance in newly launched operational areas.

Conducting and managing events for Courier Partners in new areas.

Skills & Experience Required

• Excellent communicator and a motivator, as you will have daily contact with our future Courier Partners and other stakeholders in the company.
• Patient and understanding of needs, as you’ll be conducting many 1:1 conversations with Courier Partners.
• You’re an expert and confident in expressing your social skills.
• You are a fast learner and attentive to both small details and the bigger picture.
• Thorough and organized - you accomplish tasks with all ends tied and have great attention to detail.
• Proactive planner and thorough thinker, as you constantly seek new ways to improve processes.
• You have a can-do attitude and are ready to roll up your sleeves and get to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Data Driven - you use data to solve problems and push forward the expansion team.
• Fluent in Hebrew and fully proficient in English
