Data Engineer- Customer-facing

We’re building the future of AI-powered data infrastructure—helping companies reimagine how they interact with their data warehouses.

We’re now looking for a data engineer to join our founding team and work directly with customers to co-build data solutions using our emerging platform.

This is a hands-on, builder role at the intersection of data architecture, product design, and customer collaboration. You’ll work closely with our early customers to prototype, iterate, and shape both their solutions and our product -laying the technical and operational foundation for scalable, AI-powered data experiences.

🔧 What You’ll Do

●     Partner with design partners and early customers to design and implement data solutions using our developing SaaS platform.

●     Translate customer data workflows, pain points, and requirements into scalable architecture and actionable feedback for our product team.

●     Build proof-of-concepts and pilot integrations across modern data stacks (Snowflake, dbt, BigQuery, Redshift, etc.).

●     Collaborate closely with engineering and our founders to support shaping our first Product based on real-world customer needs.

●     Develop technical content—solution templates, documentation, and architecture guides—that help scale future implementations.

●     Act as the technical bridge between customers and our engineering team, ensuring every engagement feeds directly into product evolution.

✅ Must-Haves

●     7+ years of experience in data engineering or data architecture.

●     Deep technical understanding of modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, dbt, Databricks, Airflow, etc.).

●     Hands-on experience building and deploying data pipelines and integrations in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

●     Strong SQL skills and comfort working in complex data environments..

●     Proven ability to translate complex data problems into elegant, scalable solutions.

●     Able and willing to do hands-on deep dive into a complex environment, learn and understand data and its meaning, and troubleshoot issues with pipelines, transformations or queries.

●     Excellent communication skills- able to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

●     A builder mindset: comfortable with ambiguity, iteration, and learning-by-doing in a startup environment.

●     Proven experience leading communication and collaboration with global enterprise customers.

●     Fluent English- ability to lead and maintain ongoing communication with global customers.

●     Background in AI/LLM-based systems or building conversational interfaces for data.

●     Familiarity with enterprise SaaS integration patterns (SSO, RBAC, APIs).

●     Experience at an early-stage startup, particularly in shaping V1 data or infrastructure products.
