Senior Backend Engineer

As a Backend Engineer, In this role, you’ll play a key part in building our platform: from optimizing and refactoring existing code to designing and developing impactful new features, seamless integrations, and tailored solutions that serve our growing client base.

This is an exciting opportunity for developers to work hands-on with cutting-edge technologies, and gain valuable experience building and implementing complex systems.

Responsibilities:

• Focus on backend-oriented development, with the ability to contribute end-to-end (client to server) considered a plus.
• Architect, implement, and optimize features using advanced technologies
• Collaborate with product managers and software engineers to deliver complex products.
• Analyze and improve performance, scalability and stability of our systems, environments and tools.
• Transform intricate product needs into efficient, high-performance solutions.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of meaningful experience with backend development (Node.js) and APIs
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Solid understanding of databases, including SQL and MongoDB
• Experience designing new functionality for complex components while maintaining scalability and performance.
• Team player with an awesome attitude: We hire people who we want to work with
• Excellent communication skills (Hebrew & English)
• This is a hybrid position, requiring one to two days per week in the Tel Aviv office
