Senior Backend Engineer

What You’ll Do:

• Write clean, efficient, and testable code for highly scalable cloud applications.
• Ensure high code quality through unit, integration, and system testing, as well as robust monitoring and observability.
• Take ownership of technical domains, driving design, architecture, and feature development from concept to production.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and fullstack teams to deliver impactful and business-critical solutions.
• Leverage AI-powered tools to optimize development workflows, improve productivity, and accelerate delivery timelines.
• Stay current with industry trends, cloud technologies, and best practices in modern software engineering.
• Mentor and guide fellow developers, fostering a culture of craftsmanship, quality, and continuous learning.
• Contribute to strategic technical decisions, proactively identify challenges, and ensure high reliability and scalability of systems.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of backend development experience, ideally with C# (Java or other OOP languages also considered).
• Proven experience designing and building large-scale, high-traffic systems.
• Strong understanding of web applications, microservices architecture, OOP principles, and software design patterns.
• Hands-on experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, Redis, message brokers, and data/stream processing platforms (RabbitMQ, Kafka).
• Solid experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps tools (Git, Docker, Kubernetes) on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Track record of owning features end-to-end — from requirements through to high-quality production delivery.
• Demonstrated mentoring experience with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proactive, accountable, and results-oriented problem solver with a passion for high standards

Bonus Points if you have:

• Experience in frontend development.
• Knowledge of machine learning technologies and hands-on work with Databricks or modern data platforms.
