The biotechnology company Enzootic is recruiting a biologist for its genetics team.

At Enzootic, you will take a meaningful role in a unique production environment working with cutting-edge genetic processes to shape the future of sustainable freshwater farming.
The Enzootic Group's genetics and R&D unit operates in Israel in Kibbutz Ruhama, producing the genetics of freshwater prawns.
As part of the position:
- Complex production processes that include cell transplantation in freshwater prawns
- Molecular quality control including DNA extraction and RT-PCR control
- Treatment and management of life cycles of prawns in closed water systems
- Writing SOP's for Production and Control
- Submission of Performance Reports
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Biology/Marine Biology/Life Sciences – mandatory!
- Ability to work and treat prawns – a must!
- Experience in aquaculture – an advantage
- Background in Molecular Laboratory Work – Advantage
- Living in the Southern Region
- Availability for a full-time position 5 days a week with a rotation on Fridays
