Join us and contribute to one of the most unique engineering teams in the organization - The Cross Team, in charge of multiple cross organization features. Delivering technical products to both our R&D teams and Guesty's customers. Design, build, ship and observe new features and domains as well as navigate complex seas in our domain driven micro service environment.

Responsibilities:

• Be in charge of designing complex features from concept phases to production.
• Work closely with architects and tech leads to design and implement resilient event driven systems.
• Work closely with PMs and other team developers to understand, shape and execute requirements in multiple domains.
• Have full ownership of multiple key areas of our system.
• Support other development teams and guide them through our tooling and domains.
• Be a paragon of quality and engineering ingenuity for the entire organization.

Requirements:

• Someone with a passion to build and create great products for both customers and other developers.
• An experienced developer, with 6+ years of experience in backend development.
• Experienced with various SQL / NoSQL databases and/or messaging systems (RabbitMQ / Kafka).
• Experienced with modern architecture (Microservices, Event Sourcing, Resilient systems, Performance optimisations, API as a service, CQRS).
• Independant and open to grow in multiple directions in an ever changing engineering organization.
• A team player with great communication skills, willing to both teach and learn.

Nice to Have:

• BSc. in Computer Sciences or equivalent
• Experienced with Node.js, Nest.js, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Kafka, Redis
