Mertens - MalamTeam is hiring an experienced Linux Infrastructure Engineer to join a leading enterprise organization.

Role Overview

This role involves managing and maintaining large-scale Linux environments, including system upgrades, virtual server deployment, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. The position also includes supporting large-scale infrastructure projects, implementing and maintaining critical systems, and providing technical solutions across diverse environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage, maintain, and upgrade Red Hat Linux servers across large-scale environments.
• Deploy and configure virtual servers using VMware virtualization technologies.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and improve system performance and reliability.
• Participate in large-scale infrastructure projects under professional guidance.
• Implement, monitor, and maintain critical production systems.
• Utilize Ansible for automation, configuration, and orchestration tasks.
• Provide on-call support during nights and weekends as required.

Requirements

• 3+ years of proven experience managing Red Hat Linux servers – mandatory.
• Experience working in large-scale environments (300+ systems/servers) – mandatory.
• Hands-on experience with VMware (installation, configuration, and management) – mandatory.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience with Ansible – mandatory.
• Willingness to provide support during night and weekend shifts – mandatory.
